Where the data comes from
Every food in Refuelled records where it came from and the reference it came from, so you can always tell whether a figure is a government dataset, a contributor's photograph of a packet, or your own.

What we do with it
Reference figures are stored per 100 g and every calorie you see is worked out from them, the weight used and the recipe's yield. Nothing is rounded until it is displayed. Where a food's energy and its macros disagree with each other, the record is flagged rather than quietly trusted, and where nobody has yet checked a figure read off a photograph, it says so.
