Train

The effort, and what it costs

Sessions planned alongside the food, energy from your devices where they have it, and a weekly picture that is about the pattern rather than a single hard day.

What it does

  • Sessions in the week

Plan training beside the meals, so the food and the effort are looking at each other.

  • Energy that is measured, not guessed

A device reading wins. Where there is none, MET tables from the 2024 Compendium of Physical Activities do the estimate.

  • Strava and Withings

Connect once and sessions arrive on their own, with weight, body composition and sleep.

  • Health Connect

The phone reads its own store: steps, sleep, resting heart rate and sessions, without another account.

  • One ride, not three

Two devices reporting the same session are merged, and you say which one you believe.

  • Statistics

Weight with a smoothed trend, energy in against energy out, sleep, steps and blood pressure when a cuff has spoken.

The training week: each person's load this week against their usual, then every session by day with its duration and the energy it cost.

The week, not the day

Each person gets their load this week beside what is usual for them, because a hard Tuesday only means something next to the fortnight around it. A big jump says so.

Sessions you planned and sessions your watch reported sit in the same list, and a ride that two devices both recorded appears once.

Your body, your data

Weight, body composition, sleep and medical notes are encrypted where they are stored, kept out of every log and every analytics event, and never sent to a model. Nobody else in the household sees them unless you share them, and you can stop sharing at any point.
